Thanos, as portrayed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), is a powerful Titanian warlord from the ruined planet Titan. Driven by the belief that the universe's resources are finite and inevitably lead to destruction, Thanos seeks to collect all six Infinity Stones.
